Luna has a podcast!
As I finished my online class one Saturday morning, I felt happy to see so many faces I used to see at Luna every weekend, but I also felt nostalgic. Nostalgic for a time when I was able to connect with the many yogis who come to the studio. Until the studio can open its doors again, I thought why not get some conversations going and share them with you! For the first episode I wanted to talk to Jennifer Maagendans, the owner and creator of Luna, in order to find out how she was doing during these challenging times for the studio and how she’s adapted to this new lifestyle during the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you also want to know how Jenn is doing, and hear about some funny Luna moments, check out this first podcast episode and don’t hesitate to reach out afterwards to let us know what you think!

This situation may have caused you to having have anxiety, feeling down and being afraid for others and for yourself. We have all been affected to a certain extent by this pandemic, not just locally but worldwide. […]
With everything that’s transpired over the last few weeks, like many of you, I am horrified and outraged by much of what I see, hear, listen, and read. It’s also been a confusing time as I’ve been asking myself for days how I can help, where I can start, and what I can do to help support this movement and stand together. […]
We're bearing witness to history writing itself. All of this change, all of this turmoil, all of this turbulence and chaos. History is writing itself and we will look back on these days, weeks and months. […]
So you’re probably wondering who I am! Yes I am a chef from NYC, and yes I specialize in plant-based cooking. But you may be surprised to learn that I was once a front desk receptionist at Luna Yoga. We go way back! Well, at least back to 2013. I worked at Luna for a little over a year and it became my home away from home as an American in Canada. I felt a sense of community and comfort working there and practicing yoga. I even started to teach yoga towards the end of my time at Luna (and in Canada). […]
