“It’s been over 3 years since I last practiced and I was nervous about getting back into it. I shouldn’t have been. There’s a beautiful, welcoming, patient feel to the studio and its people.”
YOGA TIPS
Arrive or sign on at least 10 to 15 minutes before class
Practicing yoga bare foot is best
To get the full yoga experience, turn off your phone ringer and leave it in reception, so it’s out of reach!
If you have an injury, or are pregnant, let the teacher know before class so they can give you variations if needed
Have some props ready; blocks & straps are handy, but not 100% necessary. We do recommend having a good sticky mat.

YOGA TIPS
-
Arriving 10–15 minutes before class allows you to settle in, sign in, set up your space, and transition out of the rush of the day. Giving yourself this buffer helps create a calm, grounded start so you can fully enjoy your practice from the very first breath.
-
For your safety and stability, yoga is best practiced barefoot. Bare feet provide better traction, alignment, and connection to your mat, supporting a more mindful and effective practice.
-
To fully immerse in your practice, please turn off your phone ringer and leave your device in reception. Giving yourself this tech-free time helps you be fully present — connected to your breath, your body, and the moment.
-
If you’re working with an injury or are pregnant, please share this with your teacher before class. Every body and every practice is unique, and your teacher can offer guidance or variations to help you move safely and comfortably. Letting them know ensures you get the most out of your practice — honoring where you are today while staying supported throughout.
-
Having your props nearby helps you personalize your practice. Blocks, straps, and other supports can make poses more accessible, deepen stretches, and encourage proper alignment — allowing you to explore safely at your own pace. While they’re not essential, they can make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
A good, sticky mat is especially important, helping you stay steady, grounded, and confident as you move and rest.
-
Please bring a positive attitude, open heart, a yoga mat (mats are also available for rent for $2), hand towel, water, and some comfortable stretchable clothes to wear.
-
Street meter parking is available. Parking can be limited in old Montreal. We encourage travel by metro, bus, or bicycle

-
Yes. We have small dressing rooms. However, we suggest you change before coming to class to save time!
-
We do not have showers but we do have a washroom.
-
-
We are not a hot yoga studio, but it is an active style of yoga so you will build heat and in some of the classes you will get your sweat on!
