1. Why did you start practicing/teaching yoga?

I tried yoga for the first time when my employer offered weekly classes at the office. I only heard that it was "good for me" but not much more; so why not try it right?

After that first class I was hooked. I felt like there was more space and calm in my mind and that night I slept like a baby.

2. In what way has yoga helped you?

Yoga has helped me understand my mind better and helped me move from being under the control of my mind to being in control over my mind.

That means I now see and understand what my mind is doing and I can choose how I react to things instead of reacting impulsively and not knowing why.

I experienced an exponential improvement in this area when I started meditating daily.

3. What are the positive results you have experienced from practicing yoga?

The most obvious result for me has been the reduction of my anxiety which had a direct impact on my body and my mind.

Stress related health issues have slowly faded to a minimum. With that, the feelings of anger and sadness changed to joy and love of life.

I have always been a positive person but yoga truly helped this positivity shine over any negative situation or feeling.

In 2015, Raymond started practicing yoga out of curiosity. He quickly realized the physical and mental benefits of this practice. Curiosity turned into a passion as yoga and meditation transformed the way he approaches every day with more patience, love and compassion. To deepen his practice, he completed a 250 hour teacher training at Luna Yoga in 2018 followed by a Yoga Nidra training in 2020. He now wants to share his personal experience and knowledge of yoga to promote a healthier and happier lifestyle for all.
