Confront your fear of turning upside down in this inversions workshop! As children we are often more adventurous and playful, less afraid to flip around or try new things. In this workshop you will build confidence in your inversions practice by learning a step by step approach to build strength, flexibility and stability. We will cover exercises to build towards headstand (salamba sirsasana), forearm stand (pincha mayurasana), hand stand (adho mukha vrksasana) and shoulder stand (salamba sarvangasana).

Meditation is a practice aimed to produce inner peace and to progress towards a calm mind. It's essentially about training the mind, in a similar way that we train for a sport or to learn to play a musical instrument, with the goal of liberating the mind from stressful or harmful thoughts, and above all, reconnecting to a state of mindfulness. In this introduction, we will explore the origins of meditation, the different types and the basic techniques.
