Spring has arrived and it’s the perfect time to make space, start fresh, and create new, positive habits. As we emerge from winter with new energy and a brighter outlook, we are reminded that along with a new season come new beginnings.

Each week in class we’ll focus on a different theme:

Week 1: Bloom — Come out of hibernation + bloom back to life, ready for a new season and a fresh start.
Week 2: Revive — Wring out tensions and strengthen your core with a week of abdominals and twists.
Week 3: Arise — After months of nesting and resting it’s time to get moving + shaking.
Week 4: Spring upside-down — Reawaken your inner child by flipping upside-down… and see things in a whole new light!

Join us every month for Luna Lounge, a playful + explorative yoga practice to showcase the many aspects + techniques of yoga. Move with joy + permit yourself to play as members of our faculty spotlight poses, new practices and help you progress on your mat!

May Focus: Heart Focused Yin + Nidra

Dive deep into a 90 minute transformative, yin yoga sequence that gently invites an exploration of love through long-held poses designed to open your heart, seamlessly blending meditative practices with a carefully curated sequence of poses. Culminating in a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra session, you'll emerge feeling rejuvenated, with a sense of peace and openness that radiates from within.

Prenatal Yoga with Léa + Anna: 6 Week Session
Starting Wednesday May 15th at 4:15pm

Our Prenatal Yoga Series is designed to guide you through your pregnancy and into birth with more ease and comfort. Our sequences are safe for pregnancy and are intelligently created not only to help ease the aches and pains of pregnancy, but also to prepare you for the birth process and postpartum recovery.

You can expect basic pregnancy and birth anatomy, core and pelvic floor work and feel good flows, to leave you feeling prepared, empowered and at ease. Breathwork and relaxation are incorporated into every session, as well as coping tools for labour. 

Community is at the heart of prenatal yoga, and each session starts with a group discussion and a weekly focus for class.

We hope you will join our circle of mothers and moms-to-be where we’ll share our pregnancy journeys, move together, and support each other through this important life event.

Mom of two, Lea has a PhD in Mental Health Research from McGill University, she is a LYTT graduate and certified in prenatal yoga.

Anna, mom of two, combines her practice as a yoga teacher and a certified massage therapist, specializing in prenatal and postnatal care.

**Workshops: Once one registers for a workshop, their space is reserved. To cancel, the workshop the participant must contact the studio (by phone, email to info@lunayoga.ca, or in person) 48 hours or more before the workshop. No credits will be issued within 48 hours of a workshop. If Luna Yoga cancels a workshop the workshop participant may choose a refund or account credit.

Postnatal Yoga with Anna: 6 Week Session
Starting Thursday May 16th at 10am

Our Postnatal Yoga Series is designed to aid in the postpartum recovery process, as well as build community with other new parents. This series is intended to be started after the initial 6-week rest period.

The movement practice will focus on core and pelvic floor recovery, as well as exercises and stretches to help counteract the postnatal aches and pains from feeding and caring for your baby.

Breathwork and relaxation are incorporated into every session, as well as discussions about different postpartum topics. 

Expect a well-balanced practice, with community at the heart of every class.

Sessions are parent-oriented, but baby-friendly, meaning most people bring their babies, but the classes are designed around the birth person’s recovery.

Lake vistas, forest bathing, bird watching, and hiking along 25 kms of smooth trails are just some of what’s in store for you.

Upon arriving, you’ll be surprised and delighted with the culinary skills of our Bloom hosts, with a farm-to-table philosophy, with local and homegrown ingredients. You will never go hungry with plenty of snacks in between your vegan meals (accommodations can be made for most dietary needs).

Designed for all yogis, this retreat will give you the opportunity to explore, energize and elevate your mind and body.

From Friday September 20th, 2024 at 4 pm to Sunday September 22nd, at noon, we have a lovely plan for your stay. We have a number of options for you to choose from, whether you are alone, with a friend or loved one for this blissful weekend. Your retreat includes accommodation, yoga instructions, sauna, and meals, starting with dinner on your first night and ending with brunch on your final morning.

*The yin yoga sessions are open to all levels. Some experience necessary for the vinyasa morning sessions.
